Education Welfare Officer x2

Full time 36 hours per week, Term-time only

Fixed term contract until March 31, 2020

Salary for Full time post: £24,271 -£27,089 per annum (pro rata applied) plus Essential Car User allowance

Part time 14.4 hours per week, Term-time only

Fixed term contract until July 21, 2019

Salary for part-time post - £9,704 - £10,835 per annum (pro rata applied) plus Essential Car User allowance

  • You will provide schools with support in addressing poor attendance, both challenging and advising parents of their responsibilities.
  • You will need to be able to communicate serious matters clearly and sympathetically with a range of professionals as well as parents and children. You will have excellent organisational and IT skills and be able to focus on the needs of children.
  • You can expect strong support from peers and an opportunity to work in a range of schools as well as developing relationships with professionals engaged in the welfare of children.
