The post sits within Islington Council Communities Section and will work to develop and deliver programmes that improve the lives of our residents. Key responsibilities of this role is to establish creative, engaging and effective community provision that responds to local need and that supports the Council vision within an agreed portfolio of community development work including estate environment, health and wellbeing, community centres, estate arts and active spaces portfolios.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals committed to community development, with experience in housing, community development or related area. You will have excellent communication, organisational and creative thinking skills. Partnership working and problem solving are key skills for this role.

Please note that this role requires regular evening and some weekend working. This role also requires an enhanced DBS check.
