Islington Targeted Youth Support (TYS) Youth Counselling Service is looking for a qualified, experienced, dynamic and flexible Youth Counsellor to join their team.

This is a 35hr per week permanent post, however, we also encourage job sharing (17.5 hrs per week). This post will be based in various youth centred venues within the Borough of Islington.

Prospective candidates must be qualified counsellors, be intergratively trained and have a minimum of 1yr post qualification counselling experience with young people. Candidates must also have previous and extensive experience (minimum of 3yrs) of working in general with young people aged 12yrs – 21yrs (this can also include counselling work). 

This is an exciting new post that will offer regular clinical supervision, training and the opportunity to be part of a youth friendly, responsive and progressive counselling service, working in partnership with the local health authority and other local youth services.
